This Antique Irish Crochet Lace Rose Motif with Five Mesh Square Petals, handmade by local lacemakers circa 1913, is from the County Cork Industrial Association, Distributors of Real Irish Handmade Laces and Crochet.
This motif consists of a three petal deep Irish Crochet Rose Motif centre to five Mesh filled Petals with a Picot style border.
Measuring 2.5 inches wide by 2.5 inches high, this Irish Handmade Lace comes on blue felt backing with a mount that measures 8 inch by 10 inch which fits a standard frame.
There are 140 of these motifs in the Cork County Industrial Association. Each Motif has been numbered and comes with a Letter of Authentication.
